Open you're eyes - you just have to look around to see that society is not sick. The support on this site is an example of this.
Unforrtunately, small acts of kindness are not reported on the news just the bad stuff - and it is kind of hard to see the good side of society when all you see is the media reporting all the murders, rapes etc.
Sometimes, that is the view you get with society as well particularly when you are bullied at school.
My school years were a nightmare, and I thought this way for a long time - but now I just have to walk around my neighbourhood and know that 95% of the people out there are basically cool.
I think human beings tend to be quite pessimistic as well, but I try to live my life thinking it is a blessing.
