You know, I WOULD create my own decorations (it seems that many of my ideas you just can't find to buy anywhere), but I simply do not have the time (I'm a teacher.) I
will, however, make a stuffed person to prop on our porch swing ... probably over fall break.
Thankfully, we have plenty of trick-or-treaters in the town I live in now. If you live in a town with a mall, your trick-or-treater days are over. All the moms and pops take their kids to the fuckin' mall on Halloween night. Talk about commercializing a holiday! Halloween seems so much different today than it was when I was a kid. <sigh .... slips into a fog of nostalgia>
