I've seen a couple of people mention peanut butter and banana sandwichs (which I have yet to try), but I don't think anyone has mentioned banana and mayonaise sandwhichs. They are great.
They maybe a common thing, I dunno, but I was starting to believe it was a southern thing. I was born and live in North Carolina and have always eaten them and my wife is from Illinois and refuses to try it.
