Ya we could make it look decent with just blood but the more grafic you want it like heads fallin off etc. its gonna get expensive fast.

I think concentrating on the build-up and suspense would be the way to go - personnally the only movies which have scared me are those ones, particularly the ghost stories. Perhaps concentrating on myth and legend and bringing it into the 21st century - but we would obviously need to find a lesser known legend which hasn't been done to death - they had a lot in medieval times and in the middle ages.

I think this is a pretty good idea, i bet there are alot of good stories and legends we could use just floating around. We could even use one thats already been done as long as we put our own twist on it ya know. Definatly gonna agree with the suspense and build-up idea.
