EXT. CRYSTAL LAKE-DAY
ASH’s 73 oldsmobile drives past the camp.
ASH
What happened here?
GREG
A bunch of crazy shit.
ASH
Well I’ve been in a bunch of crazy shit. Give
me some more details.
GREG
Supposedly that killed Jason returned last night
and had a little fun. One of the victims was Freddy
Krueger.
ASH
You mean that child murderer way back. I thought he
Died.
GREG
Well he has supposedly returned now and then in teen’s
Dreams. And if he kills you in your dream, you actually die.
ASH
Hmm. Wouldn’t want to mess with him.
GREG
Previous survivors claimed to have killed Freddy in the
Past. But just like that he comes back. Maybe he’s still
Out there. Boo wo wo ha ha ha!
ASH
Real scary Greg. Trust me I’ve been through worse.
They pull into the police station.
INT. POLICE STATION-DAY
POLICE GUY 1
May I help you two?
GREG
We believe a piece of evidence recovered from the 93’
Voorhees’ manor massacre was stolen from us. It a book
made of human flesh and bone.
POLICE GUY 1
Do you have any proof that the evidence is yours?
ASH
Yes. The book contains an index card with the name ASH
On it. I’m Ash!
POLICE GUY 1
Wait here gentlemen. While you’re waiting I’ll need to see
your ID’s.
POLICE GUY 1 walks into a hallway with tons of lockers. He slips on some rubber gloves. Each one has a year. He pulls out the 1993 drawer and looks threw it, he takes out the book and walks back. ASH and GREG slip him their ID’s as he glances at them and their ID. He takes out the book as a screeching noise is heard. He opens it up and sure enough there is an index card that says Ash.
POLICE GUY 1
Okay. The book is yours.
ASH takes the book.
ASH
Thank you.
ASH leaves as he drives back. As he is driving he hits a deer and goes off the road becoming unconscious.
DREAM SEQUENCE:
ASH wakes up as he is on his bed and LINDA approaches.
ASH
Linda?
LINDA
Ash. I need you to go back to Crystal Lake.
ASH
But why?
LINDA
A man named Jason Voorhees is there and he won’t
stop killing. I need you to stop him.
ASH
I’ll do anything for you Linda.
LINDA gets killed by JASON
ASH
LINDA!!!
JASON doesn’t do anything.
ASH
Come on big boy. Show me what you’ve got.
ASH shoots with him 3 times with the shotgun in the chest as he approaches with the chainsaw. Jason swings his machete as it hits ASH’s back.
JASON plays the tape recorder. The incantations begin as ASH screams.
ASH
Turn it off!
FREDDY appears laughing as ASH starts running towards it as the hallway stretches.
ASH
Damn you Freddy!
DREAM SEQUENCE ENDS:
ASH wakes up as he is in the CRYSTAL LAKE hospital.
ASH
Oh… What happened.
NURSE
You were in a car accident. You merely suffered a
bruise or 2 and a cut on your back.
ASH feels his back.
ASH
What about Greg?
NURSE
He wasn’t so lucky.
(beat)
He suffered a large gash across his chest from the
glass, he bled to death.
ASH
God Damn it! That wasn’t from the glass! It was from
Freddy!
NURSE
Freddy Krueger?
(beat)
Freddy Krueger was found decapitated today.
ASH
He was the one who gave me the cut on my back.
He had a hockey mask and a huge knife.
NURSE
Hockey mask?
(beat)
I think you’re confusing Freddy with our local Jason.
ASH
Jason…

INT. WILL’s HOUSE
LORI
Oh Will it’s so good to see you!

It’s good to see you too. Did you hear any new news about
Jason?
LORI
No. I think he’ll be gone for a long time.
WILL
So what do you want to do?

INT. WILL’s BEDROOM-NIGHT
