LORI

thing after all.
LORI
Jason won, I knew he would send that son
of a bitch freddy back to hell.

LORI’S FATHER
He was picked up by his parents. He can live with

LORI

CUTS TO:
INT. ASH’S HOUSE-DAY
ASH is walking around picking up numerous weapons.
SERIES OF SHOTS:
1) ASH picking up his shotgun
2) ASH picking up his chainsaw
3) ASH picking a few bottles of liquor as he adds cloth for a fuse.
4) ASH taking off his mechanical hand revealing a stub.
5) ASH trying the chainsaw cord to his shoulder as he puts the chainsaw on the stub.
ASH pulls the chainsaw down as he starts it up.
ASH
Groovy.
The phone RINGS as ASH picks it up.
ASH
Hello?
GREG
Ash, you need to come over here quick.
ASH
Why?
GREG
I think I found the Book of the Dead.
CUT TO:
INT. GREG’s HOUSE-DAY
GREG
Come in here.
ASH
That’s a television.
GREG
Yes it is. I’ve found some footage of the Book of the Dead.
Do you remember the incident in 1993 when Jason Voorhees,
The camp crystal lake killer murdered 3 people in his family’s house.
ASH
Yeah, what about it.
GREG
Well I was looking through some news records and I came across
“Mysterious Book” as one of the pieces of evidence. Sure enough,
I found a tape of the investigation. Here it is.
GREG puts in the tape as it begins. A minute into it the book of the dead is shown.
ASH
Well this is in 1993, a lot could of happened to that evidence in 10 years.
GREG
I say we go to Crystal Lake.
