My family is pretty dysfunctional as are many Midwestern auto factory worker units.

My Dad: A very simple, straight forward person. He's 76, and has given me a lot of good advice over the years. He worked all the time when I was a kid, so that we could have all the best. I don't ever remember receiving much affection from him, but in a man's way I know he loves, and is concerned about me.

My Mom: She's 78 and in very poor health :( She was the typical stay at home Mom in the 60's and 70's. 3 foot high hairdo's with 2 cans of hairspray in it. Whipped my ass with whatever she could get her hands on, combs, wooden spoons, switch from one of the trees in the yard. She tells me more now then ever that she loves me.

My younger Brother: We literally hate each other. he and I refuse to speak to each other. Of course in my opinion my parents feel he and his family can do no wrong. We had a real knock-down, drag-out fight a few years ago, (blows and punches). I was telling a friend at work about the incident, he gave me the, "my brother and I were arguing, and then he suddenly died, and I never got to say I'm sorry speech." Well I thought about it, I called my brother and told him sorry about the incident, even though I felt he started it and was wrong. He never said sorry, kiss my ass, or nothing. The cease fire lasted about a month, and that was about 10 years ago. He's King of the Rednecks, so I'm sure he has plenty of admirers.

Wow, how f**cked up is all this!

Nosferatu,
Does not this word sound like the call of the death bird at Midnight? You dare not say it since the pictures will fade into dark shadows, ghostly dreams will rise from your heart and feed on your own blood
