When I was in the Army my unit went to Puerto Rico for a few weeks for field training exercises. We slept in qwansen huts on a reservist base. Its one long room that can bunk about 50-60 men.
I'll never forget how hard it was sometimes trying to get to sleep with all those guys snoring and farting. Anyhow, next to me slept this Sgt that was a Vietnam Vet. I dont remember his name but he was this short, stocky Samoen guy. He used to grind his teeth in his sleep. Man..... It made my teeth hurt listening to him. It was so loud I couldn't believe he could sleep through it. In between grinding his teeth he would say things like..." squad left, squad left...move,move,....Fire,fire." You know I felt sorry for him.I could only imagine what he was dreaming about. I must have been some pretty heavy stuff.
