there are so many lame-ass horror movies, but i usually get a fair bit of forewarning and avoid watching them. unfortunately i did see freddy vs. jason in the theater, though. that one was really bad.
older horror flicks, whether they be cheesy or no, are usually fun at least and worth checking out. but the crap they're coming out with these days is sickening.
hmmm, exorcist 2 or 3, can't remember which one, was so boring, the old lady scuttling across the ceiling was the only bit of action; unfortunately it was right at the end.
tis true that many people didn't like john carpenter's vampires, i thought it had some redeeming qualities. the vampires looked pretty cool, they were hard to kill, there were some good scenes. but i hate james woods, arrogant little prick, and it pissed me off so bad when he almost-effortlessly slew the head vampire that i declared the movie to be a total waste of time. i would've liked to see him die, and the vampires prevail. then i'd consider it a good movie.
