If the horror movie writer was realistic....he probably wouldn't be making horror, would he? At least not the kind of horror "f vs J" comes into...and, yknow, winning a fight against guys like Freddy or Jason isn't about really how weak OR strong OR superhuman you are...but how RESOURCEFUL you are....are you guys even considering every SINGLE nightmare or Friday movie of the past? 'Cos you know, the character that always beats them in the end, is, in fact, a "mere mortal" that comes up with a plan....a human, that's it....so, if these "people" can end up beating Freddy OR Jason (even if only temporarily til the NEXT sequel), wouldn't a character like Ash, who's pretty damn resourceful, is usually packing things like chainsaws and shotguns, and has slayed himself more than a few demons, be more than enough of a contender? think about it. read my first post in here if you haven't already....and, you know....go for the freakin' underdog for once....us relating to a more human character is what makes good horror usually anyway.
