Originally, I didn't even think about it because I wouldn't vote for him in every match. There are characters I like better. BUT, I've had 3 different people say they know Homer will win. My thought was that if he is certain to win, then it makes the tourney kind of obsolete. So I offered to take him out, that way we can determine who's the 'other' favorite, and then have the tourney winner face off against Homer after the tourney.
But, I agree with you Fluff. That was my original thinking too, it only changed because it became clear that we have a VERY heavy favorite. I'm open though, I'll do whatever the majority thinks we should do.
P.S. My top 5 wouldn't even have a single member of the Simpsons family in it.
