I dont care for canadian beer. (I hate it in fact, sorry) But i always admired you guys for frenchfires with gravy...:)
Gravy is a fantastic topping for any number of foods. It reminds me of when i was a kid living in germany. They have a dish called "Jaegerschnitzel". Literally "Hunter's cut". (Yes, jaegermeister is "Master Hunter") This restauraunt on the NATO base we were stationed at made Jaegerschnitzel (breaded fried pork chop or veal, smothered in mushroom sauce....). They served it with these HUGE meaty fries, and you never needed ketchup because there was so much mushroom gravy..
God im hungry..
