Splater Pak
I'm thinking of picking this up for $25. Anybody familiar with this collection. Some of the reviews were'nt too favorable but they seemed to focus on acting and dubbing. I mean c'mon, I aint looking for academy award material, just some fun and gore. Here is the breakdown of the 4 movies included in the set. If anyone has seen one or more and can give me some info, it would be much appreciated.
Zombie Doom (a.k.a. Violent Sh*t 3) From infamous German horror director Andreas Schnaas - Violent Sh*t 1 & 2, Nikos the Impaler - comes a sequel of even more graphic proportions! Karl the Butcher - tyrannical leader of a barbaric legion of metal-masked madmen called the "Infantry of Doom" - has plans for creating an army of flesh-eating, zombified monsters, and mankind will soon tremble in fear! (1999)
Zombie (1990) A military helicopter carrying untested chemicals crashes into a forest, releasing a quick-spreading virus known as Extreme Pestilence. Soon mutilated bodies are being found throughout the countryside as the recently deceased come back to life as gut-munching abominations.
Rock & Roll Frankenstein (2000) Dr. Frankie Stein builds a ghoulish superstar from the body parts of dead legendary rockers including Elvis, Hendrix, Holly, Vicious, and Morrison. A certain part of Liberace winds up in the re-assembled mix of organs and limbs leading to a schizophrenic meltdown of the rock'n'roll monster that is down-right gruesome.
Possession of Nurse Sherri (1977) From the legendary drive-in movie tag-team of Al Adamson and Sam Sherman (Dracula vs. Frankenstein). Voluptuous nurse Sherri is possessed by the demon spirit of a powerful necromancer and transformed into a maniacal killing machine that stalks the hospital corridors turning them blood-red with terror and madness.
Thank ya kindly.
