I just watched this movie again with my boyfriend. At the end of it he asked me what was going on and I found I couldn't explain it. I also had my own assumption as to what happened.

POSSIABLE SPOILERS

I.E. they were dead and just spilling out into a new world. But the more I thought about it the more I realized it didn't make sense. Someone help. It's driving me insane.
