I'm not afraid of any animal I could squish with my bare hands, so that eliminates the insects and spiders. I guess the animal I would hate to run into the most in the wild would be an ornary wolverine cornered and feeling threatened.

{I live in the upepr midwest so our selection of scary/dangerous animals is limited to bears, wolves, and wolverines. And since I've heard stories about wolverines taking on bears and winning, I had to go with them.}
