THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR (2004). Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger are both good as parents trying to recover from a tragedy and hoping the hire of an aspiring writer will aid in that. Some good moments in here, but weird throughout and Jeff's character is really a tool, especially the way He treats Mimi Rogers, who has an eye opening scene here. **1/2
