The movie is only saved a little bit at the last 10 minutes, which had a few alright effects. Up untill then it was just a group of 4 people exploring an island and its abandoned hotel. The soundtrack certainly didn't help as it sounded like it was stolen from a boring action/adventure flick, which did absolutely nothing to create tension or creepy atmosphere. Then it gets to the last 20-30 minutes and the director suddendly remember he's making a horror movie and changes the soundtrack.

It didn't seem like a good movie from the trailer. But the old resort location did look good so I'll still check it out one day.
