I guess that ending of Halloween is so classic and scary with Myers still out there. Surviving being shot and all those other injuries. That Halloween 2 kind of ruins it by having him walking around no problem. I like the idea that he's the boogeyman. And you are left with that at the end of Halloween. It's scary. Just like how Halloween 3 stuck with me. But when I saw these I was a kid. So I guess that helps.

I do like Halloween H20. I think I prefer that to Halloween 2018. But I need to see the sequel. I'm not sure I like where that series is headed. I thought Myers should not have escaped that basement after all of Laurie's planning.

I guess the problem with every great movie is, it is so difficult to make lighting strike twice.
