Daniel Isn't Real was an enjoyable thriller. At the start, I thought it was going in a vein similar to Fight Club, but it soon becomes more than that. Maybe the best compliment to a thriller is when the tension is so good that most of the special effects look a bit silly. Or maybe it's the other way around.

I enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters and both leads do a good job, with Schwarzenegger junior turning out to be a pleasant surprise (especially when his other Imdb-credits include scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse). Would like to see them in other decent thriller and horrors.

Also a mention for Sasha Lane. She reminded me a bit of Lisa Bonet's character in High Fidelity. Don't know if she was purposely chanelling her, just came to mind.

Watched the trailer. Looks interesting. I can see the Fight Club connection... if it took a horror turn.
