Happy Thanksgiving guys.

I hate to sound so Grim but I had a random thought. On September 11th, 2001, we had our second ever large-scale attack within the United States from an outside source. I feel like that might be the day that all this new hatred began in our country. Back before Pearl Harbor, life in America for the most part was like it was portrayed in shows like Leave it to Beaver later on in the 50s. Life after Pearl Harbor though seemed to harden up a lot of people. More serial killers and violent crimes emerged. They were always there but it just seems like something lit a spark when we were bombed in World War II. Fast-forward 60 years when our culture has totally changed and people seem to be much more emotionally delicate than they were when Pearl Harbor happened. Along with social media and other websites that allow people to communicate with one another without running the risk of saying the wrong thing and provoking physical violence, people are becoming braver which then sends them out into the world being a little more confident and attempting to get away with things they could on the internet but all it does is create more violence and hate and crime. Even after all of that, the sad truth is, our very own America is provoking every single bit of it and destroying itself from the inside out and for what, ratings?
