I love the original and I'm really looking forward to seeing the new one.
I don't get bent out of shape when a movie is a remake. If it can bring something new and different to the table then I'm game.
However, the book is very long. The original left quite a bit out due to time constraints. I'm curious how they are going to make this work with a shorter running time. Will this movie be the start of a series? Will it only be 2 parts? Will they cram as much as they can into a 1.5 to 2 hour time space? Or will the movie be 3 hours or longer?
I'm curious. Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised.
