I have recently finished watching a marathon of movies featuring psychiatric wards/mental asylums and I couldn't help but notice that most of the movies involved ghosts or some form of evil presence haunting the building.
I like the genre, but I am fed up with the overused ghost theme associated with it. Can you recommend a couple of recent asylum horror movies which do not involve vengeful spirits or other supernatural entities?
