I grew up watching the Hammer films, the Saturday afternoon horror movies on TV were always the old Universal and giant creature movies. I actually don't care for the slasher films. I don't equate gore with horror. It's just gore. I prefer creatures/monsters/spooks, etc. There have been a few newer movies that I like, but not many.
I miss Saturday TV so much. I remember sitting in the living room watching Saturday morning cartoons and then watching some of the classics during the day. To go along with that, Up All Night on USA when I was a teenager was THE SHIT! Please tell me some of you remember that?
