I thought the ending was the best thing about this movie, leaving it on a high note.
The movie seemed always on the verge of dodgy puppetry - it walked a fine line between believable action and an actor violently shaking a puppet. I think that line was a bit too thin in places.
Was it a black comedy or a straight up horror? It wasn't funny enough for the former or horrifying enough for the latter. Ultimately it didn't commit to either and therefore it lacked identity and substance. A shame.
