There is an urban legend that if you look in the mirror and say Candyman five times, he will appear behind you and kill you with a hook that he has for a hand. When Helen starts to write a thesis she decides to do it on Candyman. She doesn't know what she is getting herself into.
Helen is played by Virginia Madsen, and she is an amazing actress. She hits all of the emotions with flying colors. This woman can act and that's a fact. Heh that rhymed.
