I really like the immersement -- sound FX, music, visual FX, the realistic acting (naturalistic or improvised performances), the pacing (that some would feel is slow).
A theatre setting, or quiet isolated setting, really enhances the experience. If one has things they need to get to, or interruptions, or one's sensitized to an MTV fast pace, it can be difficult to sync with. And I mean that in general, not that those pertain to you.
