Help with title
 

I'm trying to find the name of a 80s horror movie I vaguely remember.
All I remember is that the female main character (a brunette) was infected by whatever was making people into undead and she stuck sharp pieces of metal into herself before fighting the rest of the undead.
The cover showed a picture of her face, with chunks of metal here and there in the flesh. I may also remember her wearing red?
