Hurricane Frances Still Causing Problems
 

Well hurricane Frances may have already done it's damage in Florida, but us folks here in SC and NC are feeling the effects of it now.....Today alone in SC alone we had 20 tornados, a few of them not far from where I live, and I know there were a few in NC also...There is also major flood warnings for most of NC and SC...My power was knocked out for a few hours earlier and just came back on here a little bit ago...Bad thing is we still have more of this stuff heading our way tomorrow....:(

I was under the impression (from past post) that you lived in Florida.

Yeah, there has been a couple of tornando warnings a few counties away from me today and tornado and flood watches all day.

I was just thinking the other day that I was glad it was gonna miss us. Could be worse though.

Yeah I'm in SC man, and yeah I agree it could be worse....But still it has been pretty bad around here..I know you guys in NC are gonna get a lot of flooding due to the topography of the land, especially in the mountains and foothills.

Hope everything goes smooth for ya tonight and tomorrow.

I guess we'll just play it by ear and count down the days untill hurricane season is over. :)

I called MD last night to see if he was ok and his phone is out there..........so guaranteed he has been in trouble. I don't know how you guys can handle this kind of thing......really scary.

i've lived in Florida for almost 8 years...
& this is the worst i've seen...charley knocked out our power for about 2 days...
Fran. just made it flicker...it's not as bad as they're making it out to be...Hugo was bad....i was in that...this is nothing...
lets just hope Ivan isn't gaining power/speed..
