Hey has anyone seen this film by Larry Cohen. I got it on DVD and its really great i think.

"frailty"? whats that one..... o wait mathew macanahey, ya ya that movie was good too.

What's it about? Intriguing title.

Yeah, Larry Cohen does good stuff. I'mma definately Netflix this one.

the synopsis on my DVD case reads:

A rooftop sniper guns down 14 pedestrians on the streets of New York City. A mild mannered dad takes a shotgun and blows away his wife and children. A cop goes on a sudden shooting spree at the St. Patrik's Day parade. And each of these unlikly killers makes the same dying cunfession: "God told me to."

Now a repressed Catholic NYPD detective must uncover a netherworld of deranged faith, alien insemination and his own unholy connection to a homicidal messiah with a pervese plan for the soul of mankind.

Tag line: KILL (is written with blood under the tittle "God Told Me To" so it reads God Told Me To KILL.)

One of LC's best for sure a neat mix of cop drama,alien encounters,religous imagry and all out wierdness highly recomended his second best in my opinion Q the winged serpant was his best!

Oddly enough, this movie is in Ebert's "I Hated, Hated, HATED This Movie" book

Just gives me more reasons to hate that man.

Actually, the title is misleading. It's not just the movies he really hated, because some of the movies in the book get ratings of, IIRC, **1/2 out of ****. So blame whoever decided what reviews to put in the book




Oh, and hating someone because of their opinions sucks
