Need your help finding this horror novel.
 

Hey folks.

I'm looking for a book about a guy whose face begins to change. His wife, son, and a close friend try to help him while he turning into a monster. They lock him in his bedroom and all this weird stuff happens. The whole book takes place in his house and it's very strange.

I read this years and years ago and I can't remember the title. Something like Shadowface or something like that. I'm having zero luck trying to find it. I think it was published in the late 80's or the early 90's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is'nt there a short story by Stephen King similiar to this? Seems like I can remember a story about a guy hiding from society because his body was going through some kind of change.
