I would say that this is the second best christmas themed slasher flick second to Silent Night, Deadly Night, the original was about a small group of sorority girls that are terrorized during the Christmas break by an obscene caller, who's also a killer that has his sights set on the girls.

some ppl also say that this would be the movie that started all the slasher flicks that we love and adore today.

IMDB has nothing on this, so unless you're a complete dipshit who constantly makes useless and idiotic threads about sequels and remakes that may or may not ever happen, you must be getting this "information" from somewhere else.
