Anyone ever been really bored in the video store, said "What the hell," and decided to rent this thing despite the horrible artwork on the big-ass plastic box? And no, I'm not talking about The Night of the Demon that is the British version of Lewton's Curse of the Demon, I'm talking about the '83 bigfoot movie. Yep, I said bigfoot, as in Yeti and Sasquatch. I guess the best bigfoot movie ever made is Legend of Boggy Creek, but NotD is the rarest of birds (only one in existence): a bigfoot splatter movie. Nope, this baby ain't Harry and the Hendersons.

These dumb kids go in the woods and bad shit happens (ever see that plotline before?) Most of the mayhem is told through flashbacks, but we still get to see bigfoot rip up two Girl Scouts, jerk off a biker's penis, and make a naked gal scream herself to death (at least that's what I got out of the scene). Bigfoot also uses an axe and knives.

Worth a look.

Yep, someone does indeed get their arm ripped off in the opening. But the guy was wearing flannel so he sorta desrved it.

Sounds like a sweet movie.
