What If?

Well the gun debate got me thinking about another issue, if we were to be attacked with nuclear or chemical weapons what would you do and why?

I know there are gonna be people that are gonna say that it is unsurvivable, but that is complete bullshit, you just need to take the proper precautions....

So what do you think?

I'm pretty sure I would survive. I live in an area where there is NOTHING worth targetting for several hundred miles. But, let's say they do target this area. I have a wind-up controlled radio. So I'm set! Actually, if they bombed my town ... I would be screwed. I have no fallout shelter.

Also here is a state list that shows taget areas for each state...

I would be a gonner due to i live right by the Pacific Ocean and if there was a nuclear holocaust in Asia, there is a chance that the radiation could travel overseas to harm Oregon, Washington, and California

Egekrusher 07-23-2004 07:29 PM

I'd be totally fucked. I'm just outside of Lansing, home of the biggest automotive manufacturers in the U.S. We would be a major target.

hahahaha Im fucked. I live in a yellow area. oh well. Ill come live with Kpro and his guns.

I'd be screwed, but for a good reason.

I'd be standing out side watching the nukes go off. Although it is disasterous, it's probably one the most breathe taking (literally too) and beautiful sights you could see.

kpropain 07-23-2004 07:44 PM

Actualy if you will compare your state to some of these states you will notice a considerable difference of concentrated blast areas...

Colorado
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
South Dakota
North Dakota

These are what is known as dense pack states where heavily concentrated areas of warheads would be detonated...
Mostly because there are so many of the nations concentration of nuclear weapons and production facilities in these areas...

Just because you have a blast target over your area does not mean you would not survive...Itis very possible with the proper precautions taken...

Read through this online book for more info on nuclear attacks...It is very informing and will likely suprise you....

Yeah, I checked out the map. I live right smack dab in the center of a huge brown area. I would have to get in my car and drive for about three hours before I hit a red ring.

Yeah. You're fucked.

Well, here is my state...

See those five or six blast rings right on the Twin Cities? (Minneapolis & St. Paul)

I live right smack in the middle of those.

But I still put that I would survive at all cost because every since The Man has been sweating me, I've taken it upon myself to stop any terrorist attacks in my hood! If I see any motherfucker looking suspect anywhere near our nuclear plant, I'm adopting a 'shoot first, ask questions later' policy.
