Seen Ed Gein?

I just saw Ed Gein a few nights ago and i was really excited because i thought it would be really good. For those who don't know, Ed Gein is the guy the TCM movies are based upon. Anyway, i rented it, and to my dismay, it was pretty boring throughout the entire thing. The only good party was when he put on that lady's skin like a suit, but apart from that, not very good. Anyone have anything to say about this flick?

I thought Ed Gein was quite good. I really didn't get bored at any point in the movie I just found it an interesting and really unnerving movie. Anything horror that's true or could be true scares me o.o.

Like Ted Bundy?

It was a pretty solid movie. Nothing close to great though.

By the way...isn't TCM based upon several different true stories?

thepsychicfetus 07-15-2004 03:00 PM

Yes, TCM was based on several different stories. One is with Ed Gein and the whole using peoples' skin for fashion and what not while the other story is of a maniac that went around killing people with a chainsaw in Texas, combined into TCM.

Good 'ol Texas.

Are we talking about Deranged? If we are, then that movie kicks ass. Loved it! The music really creeped me out for some reason. It really stuck with me. I should go rent that again....
