Efficient?...One swift overhanded swing to the crown of the head...

interesting might be slowly force it into the mouth

or

with the other end poke them in the head to death

Interesting: Shove it slowly into their open mouth.

Another efficient way: A single cross-wise upswing smack to the nose, from a slightly down angle.

Tie em down hobble their ankles, Misery style

then move onto the knee caps, couple of swift sideways blows to each cap, just to shatter the bones.

then go for the hands, quick blows to the palms.

then a couple of swift blows to the collarbones, just enough to snap them.

lastly, finish off with swift, but not to hard blow to the top of the head, just enought to fracture the scull and break the skin.

untie em and leave them, to die in their own way.
