Ok, I just watched Donnie Darko, 3 times in a row, with the commentarys, and i still don't fucking get it!!!!!!!!!!
please help, i know it has to do with paralell universes and stuff, but please enlighten me |
ok.
The plot is that "Frank the Bunny" is saving Donnie from his death right? K he wants to go back in time(via portal), to save the world. In the end, Donnies girlfriend "Gretchen" is runover by Frank. Donnie shoots him in the eye. Donnie then finds a portal atop the hill. The engine flying FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGH goes through the portal reversing all matter to the "day the world ended" meaning Donnies Death. He goes back in time so that "Gretchen" wont die. In the end of the movie, Gretchen walks by Donnies house saying that she never knew him. The End. |
