I'm into animal rights n stuff, very much so...
I was just having a look around at some of my affiliates sites, and somebody linked something that whilst only poetry, definately reflects upon a true, ongoing situation.
Read it if you feel as though you can get all the way through it, it's pretty upsetting...

In korea eating dog is as normal to them as eating beef is to you or l. And a regular practice of Koreans before eating a dog is stress the dog out or to make it as frighten as possible. the idea is that the adrenaline will start to flow, thus making the dog more flavourable. And the idea of slowly choking the dog gets the adrenaline flowing and bashing it tenderize the meat. After a good 10/15 mins of this , the dog is then lead away to be killed and eaten.

Apparently the poem was written by an animal rights activist...only just read about it a while ago, so I don't know all that much about it.
Yeah, what you said is correct, x, well, that among (unfortunately) quiet a few "other" methods that I don't really wanna go into...
