Does anyone know of any 2005-2009/2010-2012 era psychological horror/thriller with cool lighting? Kind of hard to explain, but I really want to see more unknown horror with mesmerizing lighting effects that are "autumnal".

I think you're thinknig of the Mark Duplas Creep 1 and 2. The one I listed was the 2004 British horror film called Creep. It's really good.
