Also not a vet but father and grandfathers both are/were vets. My mom's dad I'd especially like to thank if I wasn't so awkward around him. He's not very affectionate and I've hardly talked to him my entire life, but my grandmother told me about how people treated him after he came back from Nam... Let's just say I have strong feelings against those who disrespect veterans.
