-- I didn't put Regan McNiel because she was possessed by a genderless demon called Pazuzu, it was slim pickings and I had to think long and hard to even find good candidates because of the lack of female horror slashers or icons in western horror.... Although in Japan, it's reverse what it is here, they almost always usually have a female killer, whereas in America/Canada/Europe, etc, the killers are almost always men. I did include Sadako and kayako, because they transcended japanese horror and became international icons.. --

Fun stuff! Nice lists guys. Here's a few that I think need to be noted.

Yeah I didn't even think about Bride of Chucky.... While I wasn't the biggest fan of the actual movie, she was a good character. I just think the later CP movies got away from horror and became sort of lame, especially Seed Of Chucky. But Tiffany was a good character concept though.


Personally, I'd throw Mary Shaw or Matilda Dixon on the list before I would Rachel Lang, none of those 3 movies were very good IMO but, I think Mary Shaw or Matilda Dixon would at least be better character concepts, that if they were done better, could have been legit female supernatural slashers at least on the level of Tall Man, Maniac Cop, Candyman, or Wishmaster.... But that's just my opinion though (I'm kinda a critic).

Should we worry about spoilers here? A few come to mind, but listing them would spoiler the ending of the film and/or reveal the killer who is hidden until a certain point in the film.

Aileen from Monster comes to mind and its definitely not a spoiler.
