I hate to do this...

Please feel free to ignore this, I understand. You all know I am completely legit and wouldn't do this unless it meant something. Over the weekend one of my best friends lost his grandfather unexpectedly, unfortunately they don't have money saved up for a service or for any of the expenses. His wife is left with almost no source of income. I figured I would post this here and see if anyone is willing to throw in a few bucks. Please don't feel any pressure and please understand I wouldn't ask if there was another way. These are some of the best people I have ever known and they are in need.

I wish I could, Jake. I'm working two jobs because I need help paying my bills. I'm sorry for your friend's loss.

Totally understandable. Like I said I don't want anyone to feel like Im trying to guilt yall. I put in as much as I possibly could but I figured if I could try to help this way then its worth a shot.

I'm sorry for your loss and I get why you put it on here. I wish I could help but I also have debts to worry about.

Suggestion? How about starting up a fundraiser or a indoor yard sale and ask for donated goods to sell, maybe add in some baked goodies to sell??

Terrible thing to have to deal with. Losing family AND having to worry about money just to put them to rest. Something wrong with that. But I recently had a friend with the same problem, he had a fund raiser to help raise money. One of the things he did was a battle of the DJs. The audience donated money to a jar with each bands name on it, for which they liked best. Most money got most votes I think. It sounded like a fun idea.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I intend fully to give them every dime I can and if I have to I will pay for this thing myself. I am lucky enough to have some disposable income these days. I just have to wait for that commission check to roll in next month lol.

Your all such great people, I love this damn forum, lol.
