..and have spent a few days now trying to find some active forum to post my stuff to for some feedback, none are all that active. Figured I'd try you guys, so, Hello!

Might as well not introduce myself, so you guys can call me whatever you would like to. I'm completely self taught in all my art and writings (oh yeah, I also love to write pretty gruesome little short stories.) I recently (about 4 days ago) thought I'd get into some special effects makeup and was looking for a place to post some of the pictures to get some feedback, critisism, and such. Not sure where an appropriate place to post it is though, maybe in the art section?

I hope you do share! I love watching YouTube videos of gore effects. Always wanted to try myself, but I prefer less messy art forms.

Thank you for the kind pleasantries and all. I've posted a couple pictures of the first few things I've tried out in the art section. I've got a few more ideas in the planning stage, so hopefully I should have some more stuff to post in the next couple days. I only started this special effects stuff on a whim last week so I basically know nothing about it, or anyone who does anything, but I definitely am going to check out those people you've mentioned. I have heard of Ryan Nicholson before, but I don't think I've seen his work.
