It’s been 5 years since the outbreak that wiped out 85% of the world’s population, but the war between Re-Animates (Re-Ans) and Humans wages on. Most of the major cities are still uninhabitable. Within the few surviving cities, the Re-Ans have been segregated into “zones” and are policed by the R-Division of the QUASI S.W.A.T. Unit who hunt to re-kill the Re-Ans in the hope of quelling a second outbreak.

I don't care...I fucking love these films and am so glad its back.

I will be updating the posts as soon as the films are announced. Good memories watching these film at autumn time..Fuck. : )

Any one have any of their favorites? Mine are....

The Hamiltons

Dark Ride

Gravedancers

The Reeds

Dread...

I'll have to think further or look through my general horror section of my collection, yeah I bought some of these!

When a group of young people camping in the ruins of a medieval Turkish town play a party game called 'Murder in the Dark', they soon discover that someone is taking the game too far...' Produced in an experimental shooting style, this murder-mystery features a cast of actors who were not allowed to see the script. The actors' choices interactively changed the shape of the story. They had to use clues to solve the mystery laid out before them by the filmmakers.

Sweet! I love these movies, too! My favorites are Reincarnation, Wicked Little Things, Gravedancers.....there's another one that I'm drawing a blank on the title. About a medical student.....Autopsy, maybe? Have to look it up.

Thanks, DBD!!!!

Autopsy it is!

I liked Penny Dreadful as well.

8FDF were great efforts, enjoyed most of the movies. Re-Kill was in a limbo, I guess as it was shoot & made couple of years back as far I read somewhere before. The only movie that I've missed is Unrest from the 1st horrorfest.

My favorites are:

Reincarnation
The Abandoned
Frontier(s)
Voices
The Broken
From Within
Deaths of Ian Stone
Dread
Hidden
Kill Theory
ZMD

Do you have any idea why they doesn't do this regularly anymore...like releasing 8 new horror movies under this banner every year?

Btw, haven't heard about MURDER IN THE DARK before! Is it too a AfterDark Horrorfest movie? released yet?

I'm a spider freak! So I'd love to use that Spider GIF in my signature if you don't mind :)

'Murder in the Dark' looks great! That cover alone is an eye grabber. If it were to show up on Netflix it'd be the type of movie I'd add to my watch list in a heartbeat.

When a little girl dies, her family gathers to mourn the loss. Yet the pain is not forgotten and a vengeful demon spirit takes possession of a vulnerable family member tearing at the ties that bind them all together. One by one, it forces each family member to confess to their buried lies and face the morbid consequences of their sins.

I'm hoping for the best. It seems like it could be good. However, when I read that a lot of it was ad libbed I was a little saddened.
