I Know What You Did Last Summer
Am I the only one who thought this movie was awful except for the first kill?

I'm just going to leave this here:

I'm a sucker for a classic slasher, but that's not to say the movie wasn't without its flaws. |

Among the slew of scream clones (even though scream itself was a deliberate parody) that came out in the late 90's, I thought it was "ok".
I mean the idea of getting hooked was pretty fucked up... I remember quite liking the soundtrack of this one. Nothing great. Was more interesting on first viewing where one was still wondering who the actual killer was. The sequel was much of the same. There was an attempt at a third film in this series that had very VERY little to do with the originals, now if you want to see a truly aweful, pointless movie, there it is. |
Come on guys it gave us this song.

It was...a thing that existed. Neither good nor bad enough to be memorable to me beyond "that thing Kevin Williamson did after Scream."

I thought it was one of the better 90s slasher / horror movies. The whole cast is good. I like the twist of the end of high school fun leading to the creation of the slasher character. The sequel was so so. But the third one, just don't watch it. Completely horrible movie if you can even call it that. Different characters. I think different setting. Nothing at all like the first two.

i am a big fan of it, one of my favourite slashers. I even kinda like the second, in a perverse way, but the third pretty much blows, though the spider scene thing was cool. I like the basic idea of the messages, kinda creepy, and the hook hand fisherman look was pretty good to. The aggresive bloke was a total dick, and i'm amazed anyone tolerated him, let alone, hung about with him. The hook idea seemed to me to be a rip-off of candyman, altough i'm not sure which of the two came first.
