Dream Triple Bill
So, I was conversing with some friends about what three movies would make up our ultimate horror triple feature and I thought it would be fun to bring the question to you fine fiends.
Imagine you were given the role of program manager of a classic drive in movie theater for just ONE Saturday night. What three movies do you think would make for the best triple feature? My choices are; Tarantula 1955- I think a nice 50's era, giant bug flick is a great way to get the night started, and this one is my favorite. Return oF The living Dead 1985- Scary, funny, gory, packed with great effects and full of Linnea Quigleyness. What horror audience wouldn't have a great time watching this on the big screen? Texas Chainsaw Massacre 1974- It's my all time favorite film and it's a perfect fit for the midnight slot. Nothing could make me happier than seeing Leatherface and the rest of the clan, cutting it up at the drive-in. How intense will those last 20 minutes be on a forty foot screen?! I'm kind of guessing at the size of a theater screen but hey, I'm winging it here! So, that's what I came up with. How about you? |
Horror of Dracula (of course)
Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man Night of the Living Dead |
The Howling
Suspiria Night of the Living Dead Werewolves, witches, zombies... how is this not the perfect list? |
I was thinking a theme:
The Unnameable Pumpkinhead Basket Case |
Holy crap, sign me up for ANY of those lineups!
|
This list would change every day but for today:
The Thing from Another World Phantasm I Saw the Devil |
