I'm at episode 6. Right now I'm finding it to be incredibly beautiful in regards to the relationships. Its kind, over and understand in such a good way, etc. However there are often often used conveniences that make it less than it could be. I do not want to give out spoilers, but what the characters give each happening at just the perfect time, usually, is a bit too much. As well Nomi's mother is too stereotypical. Why is it the ignorant, asshole family member is a rich, stuck up mother?
I like the pacing a lot. The beginning is very much about the characters relationships with each other. I like that it takes 6 episodes for their to become stronger between them. Often too many episodes developing the audiences understand about the characters can be disappointing, irritating, or detracting from the story. In Sense8 I find it fits perfectly. Instead of the characters experience: BAM, OH NO! What's going on!!!???? Its a slower progression that works
