Crime-fighting
Alright HDC, I'm a horror fan who sees horror every day living in a shitty area. A woman was raped a few weeks ago. Robbery happens frequently. Crime graffiti etc. etc.
Me and a few others have decided we will become masked superheroes, and we want to spook folks in a way that makes it look like we have some supernatural powers. Nothing illegal but kind of like a glorified neighborhood watch. How can make this illusion believable. I am very tech savvy, everyone else is just dumb, strong, and/or brave/stupid. |
Stopping crime isn't simple like that. Its not fun or exhilarating. Stopping crime in bad neighborhoods means getting people jobs, access to education, etc., etc.

A few people have tried this and it always ends up with legal battles or other issues. Look up Phoenix Jones in Seattle for an idea of how a man went about being a vigilante.

No but seriously, try to be a good example in your community. Work with kids with messed up families and volunteer time with causes that really need it. If people follow by your example then maybe things could improve. It's a small step yeah but it certainly wouldn't hurt. |
Just kill off welfare... eventually everyone that isn't working will be forced to get jobs or they will just die off, either way, it will take time but the city will eventually flourish.

You could just move out to Montana...bury some guns in the mountains, practice some re-wilding skills and wait for the inevitable collapse of society....Urban centers are gonna be the first to go down.....Either that or go back to huntin' Wendigos....
