There's a petition for a Carrie (2013) director's cut.

The remake of Carrie that came out two years ago was promised to be true to Stephen King's book with new elements like cyber bullying and found footage to make the movie stand on it's own. Sadly, the film was pushed back for a Halloween release and 40 minutes of footage was cut out of the film. Only 12 minutes of cut footage appeared on the Blu-Ray's special features but the other 28 or so minutes included more violence and gore during the prom massacre, more character development, five or seven different endings, scenes from the book, and Carrie blowing up her town.

There's a petition for that version to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. It has 10,000 signatures and the goal is 20,000. The studios are considering it but there is no release date or any recent news. yeah, Evil Dead remake (which sucked) was going to be NC17 but if they changed it to R it would have been released earlier.....which they did. They chopped that movie to death just for an earlier release date. Enough with the remakes jesus. If they ever touch Jaws I'm gonna have a heart attack.

Speaking of Evil Dead, about 8 or so minutes of missing footage appeared on a UK airing by mistake. It sucks they butcher so many films just for length.
