Most original Idea?

i was just wondering what all of you Thought was the most original Horror Movie Idea.

In my Opinion the most original Idea for a movie was A Nightmare on Elm St.(1984) Just the idea of a Killer who stalks and Kills you in your dreams is quite fascinating. But this is Just my Opinion. I would love to know what you guys think is the most original Idea.

Alien. No matter how smart you are, you're going to lose.

The pods are unbelievably original, the facehugger implants a seed that's going to come out a drone as perfectly adapted to the host's environment as the host was but still be a Xenomorph.

Which are impervious to weather, most bullets, the vacuum of space, etc. They have acid for blood, great hunting abilities, terrifying reproductive capacities, & formidable natural weaponry.

And as Ash said, they have no remorse or conscious: only a driven instinct to survive unclouded by morality. When they get you, they're not going to kill you. That's a great tagline right there.

I'm a big fan of the "Cube" idea.

I'm a big fan of labyrinths in movies in general and would love to see them being used much more often.

When it comes to originality my vote goes to the Ass Demon that is Bad Milo.

I think they're awesome creatures.
But I don't find them that original as they share a lot of similarities with insects. They're like the perfect insect/spider hybrid from Hell.

Same here.
My problem is, I can only enjoy those if they have a tight script with no loose endings.I'm the kind of guy who likes to know the who, why, what,...

I do not mind if everything is explained, but I think it is more interesting when things are not explained. It leaves room for discussion with friends or on horror sites like these.

Actually, your signature pic is a damn fine example of originality.

I'd like to mention "In the Mouth of Madness" as well. That's freakin original and seriously, who doesn't like that movie?

Why can't Carpenter come up with this kind of movies more often?
