Thanks, didn't know Savini was hard up for money though.

The film budget is set at a $1,000,000 goal, anything helps, whatever you can pledge as a contribution is more than enough, there are also special offers to those who contribute.
thanks!

Good luck with the project. He really needs to hire an intern who can post a proper link, though.

What ever happened to getting investors the old fashioned way? Oh wait.... they always want a cut of the profits and a say in how their money is spent.

There's nothing inherently wrong with crowd sourcing film projects. Producers have always had to be inventive in financing, and this is one new method. Times change. Large investors often want something else besides a cut- they want some kind of control. This is a way to avoid that. Larger and larger names are trying this out. I say, if they can pull it off, more power to it.

Tom is also finding his way around the MPAA! so no cut and edit for this one!

My reading skills are intact. If you're going to post in forums, though, you should at least know how to make a clickable link.

Everyone that contributes to the Death Island fund, will have his/her name featured on the end credits of the film! Along with lots of other great special offers!

It does not matter how much you contribute, anything is appreciated!
